We are at the LAX airport, about to go to the Philippine Airlines check-in lines. We are all ready, yet anxious to get to the Philippines, but we were looking at 14 or so more hours on the plane we were about to board.

These pics below were taken in September 2002. We had just moved to the Philippines, and had not yet moved to Cebu. We were floating back and forth from Bacolod and Dumaguete with the Allen family. Jamin was 5 and Jesse 3 at the time. It's amazing how fast time flies...they were so tiny!!
Here are all the MK's (missionary kids) in front of a lechon (roasted pig) for the first time. A lechon is usually bought for special occasions. The bible college was welcoming our two families to the Philippines. The look on the kids faces when they saw the pig on the table was priceless.================================
Isn't Jess cute? I love this pic with him and his daddy. We were eating at Bob's, one of our favorite restaurants in Bacolod. Of course, the boys don't think so, but Mommy and Daddy think do.
