MK's in Bacolod 1

The end of January, we arrived in Bacolod (a city one island over) for a field conference for all the Asia Pacific missionaries. The pictures below are just all the fun parts that the kids got to enjoy. The adults had a great time of encouragement and enjoyed the fellowship, but we didn't take as many pics of the adults, go figure. We want to thank the Yandall Crew for helping our MK's have a blast that week. They watched our kids, played with them, and took them to cool places (bowling, field trips, etc).

This is a pic of all the MK's at the Caribbean waterpark there in Bacolod....our boys favorite place to go. Too bad we don't have one in Cebu. This isn't the first time we've been, probably our 3rd or 4th, so I didnt take as many pics....those are posted in archived posts.

This was a gecko looking lizard that we found in the Allen house. Lizards are common roaming around our walls, but we had never seen one like this before. It was about a foot long.

Our field director, Bro. Jerry, was delayed one day, so we took all the kids to Lakawan, a remote island/beach. We had to take a 15 min ride over to the island. It was really hot that day, but we had a great time. Especially the Crocker crew who live in Mongolia...they were loving every minute of the sun....sometimes too much. Poor kids got too much sun!

I was trying to take a pic of the pretty blue water and the white sand beach we were about to come to, but the waves moved the end of the boat in the way of the pic. I like this view too!

Jamin and Lindsey (MK from Mongolia) walking along the flowers on the beach.

Jesse got alittle carried away....

And you wonder where Jesse gets his goofiness?

Robert helped out with worship each morning along with the Allen's at the field meetings.

Dr. and Mrs. Collie came along to help with the meeting.

The kids went bowling, but with duck pins....

Jamin made good friends with the Yandall kids.

Jamin and Carly (MK in Bacolod, PI)

I know this is blurry, but I thot it was a funny pic of Jamin being goofy.

Worship time before the meetings started with the adults, and before the kids went off with the Yandall family each day.

One of the nights of the field meeting, we all met at a nearby resort to swim alittle and eat. This was taken as the sun was going down.

Weird and blurry ghostlike pic of Jesse trying to dance?

Jamin trying to do a cart wheel...but kept the pic because of the cool spider web.

During the field conference, the Yandall crew tried to find things for all the MK's to do (fun and educational stuff). Below are pics taken while visiting a silkworm farm in the Philippines.

While we are looking at the silkworm farm gift shop, I caught Jesse making faces in the mirror in the store. He is like this 24/7!

We also found a small alligator farm down the road. This particular bad boy is leashed, and not happy about it. He was huge!

Bunch of baby alligators

Should we suggest a dentist?

Can you say, ahhhhhhhh?

What you lookin' at?

Can you see all the baby alligators peeking through the water?

I'm a nature freak, and love the way the trees bend over the road here. This was near the alligator farm and taken as we were leaving.

Pretty tropical flowers along the way
