Jamin and Jesse's baptism was on two different dates, but I wanted to put them both together. Hope you don't mind.....
Besides the boys being born, I think this was my favorite two days in their lives. And I think it is such an awesome thing to see their own daddy being the one to baptize them. Jamin had accepted Christ in the summer of 2003...he was 6. He was baptized soon after in the ocean that we were using as a baptistry in the Philippines.
We were driving home from the mall one day, and Jesse, who was 6 at the time, told us that he had just accepted Christ into his heart. He had done it all by himself. Of course, we asked him all kind of questions to make sure he knew what was going on, and we felt sure that he did. It just so happen that the following week or two, on Christmas Day 2005, we had planned a baptism with our other bible study members. It was a nasty, rainy day, but that didn't stop everyone from showing up to swim and fellowship and have a good time. That is rain that you see in Jess' baptism pic.
