Dumaguete and Apo Island snorkeling

Towards the end of February, we met up with a team in Dumaguete. While there, we did some snorkeling at a nearby island called, Apo Island. This is not our normal snorkeling place so it was a whole new experience. To get to the boat, they had to cross through the middle of Apo, just a 10 minute walk. Below are some pics of their adventure....

Jesse and Wes (team member from Mississippi) make the "frame me" sign while taking the 2 hour boat ride to Apo Island. "Frame Me" means 'take my picture'.

One can only guess what Dad is thinking about...

At this particular snorkeling place, one can touch the bottom, which was mainly rough coral. The boys enjoyed looking for shells while they were snorkeling.

Here's the boat that the team rented for snorkeling. The wind was blowing pretty good, so it was actually kinda cold in the water. Can you tell Jamin is cold?

Apo Island (favorite snorkeling/diving grounds) for alot of tourists

Dad is trying to sneak some of the boys' poolside icecream.

Ok, so we are back to the tree at the resort in Dumaguete. This is the same tree the boys have been playing on (or nearby) for almost 6 years. Only this particular day is monumental for Jesse. This is his first time to actually climb it! He's always been a 'ground' kind of guy. He got brave this day! He was so proud of himself!!!

So now we officially have two monkeys!!!!!

Well.....let me restate that. We have 3 monkeys!!

We retook the picture so that Jesse was covering his mouth instead of Jamin. If you know Jesse, he loves to talk! We figured this one was more appropriate, haha!

These are my 3 favorite guys!!!! I love these guys, and couldn't imagine life without them!!!!

Mom never gets in a picture.....and she does it on purpose. Even though we are going down the road, squeezed into this tricicab in Dumaguete, with the wind rushing through my hair, I decided to take a pic of Jess and I.

This is a cute little cart at the resort in Dumaguete. I liked the colors in it. Actually the photographer was Jesse Ryan Murphy. Along with this picture, he took about 50 pictures of himself in different angles (all goofy of course). It was like his own photo shoot. I just wish I could have been outside spying on him while he did that. I'm sure it would have made for a good laugh!

My handsome little guy! Or one of them....

Ok, so now he knows he's handsome, haha!
