May Furlough pics

During May, the boys got to do a bunch of "Grrrrr Guy Stuff!!" We spent a really relaxing couple of days with a former missionary at his house in Missouri. He had his pond stocked full of fish. Jesse had not fished much until then, and caught 11 of the 20 something fish. Of course, we threw all the fish back and then went to eat some fish at a restaurant. It's easier that way, haha! Below are our men with their catch!

Jamin and Jesse got the opportunity (and the permission from Mom) to practice shooting a bb gun, and then of course, moving on to a real gun. They had a coach beside them at all times. Even Mom got in on the action. This doesn't mean the boys will be getting a gun anytime in their lifetime, but it was neat to say that they had at least shot one. They were pretty good shots too!

They also got to spend some good Grandma bonding time at the pond feeding ducks and turtles, along with playing at the park with cousins.

We have never seen a duck with an Elvis hair-do before!

This was another fishing trip, but with Grandma. She happen to be the only one who caught a fish. All the boys caught were stick fish :)

This was taken inside a lazer tag place....well outside in the waiting room. You couldn't take cameras inside where you actually use the lazer tag equipment. It was our first time to do this. I think the boys really enjoyed it. Thanks McNabb's for inviting us!!!!!!

Furlough is a time of getting together with old and new friends. Of course, we didn't have time to get together with ALL of our friends, but we tried our best. Below is a pic of the boys with the kids of one of our good friends back in Livingston. Thanks to the McFarlain's for allowing us to visit with you guys!
