The boys have always enjoyed funny hats. This is Jesse wearing an Afro hat, and then below is Jamin donning the Elvis hair at Six Flags Arlington.
Jamin spotted this ride called Flashback. We all looked at him and said, "No Way!" He really wanted to do it. Mom agreed to wait with him in line, and then get him buckled in, and then wait on the other side. He was so brave!!!!!!! If you look close, there is an arrow to the place he was sitting. The ride had a bunch of loops and corkscrews.
This is Jamin AFTER the ride. He loved it, but not enough to go for it again;)

Another first....the boys got to go to their first Pro Baseball game. Being from the Houston, we had to go see the Astros, of course. They didn't win, but we enjoyed everything about it....especially the peanuts, popcorn, hotdogs, frozen lemonade and cotton candy.

Jesse's early morning look! Eating breakfast at Camp Gary.
Jamin with Candy, his teacher. Thanks Candy for making Jamin's first camp experience a good one!
Warren (music guy at camp) with the boys and Mom. Mom dropped us off at camp on Tuesday, and picked us up on Friday morning. This pic was taken right before we left camp. Thanks Warren for making camp crazy for our guys;)
It's pea picking time in the Murphy house.....Robert's parents that is. PaPaw Murphy has always done an awesome job in planting vegetables, but when it came to harvest time, we realized he was going to need help. The boys had never done this before (once again...a first). They even got to 'shell' peas! It was a really neat experience.
Towards the end of June, while visiting our good friends, Mae and Greg Lahmann(pic below), they surprised us with tickets to Six Flags in St. Louis. This theme park is set along a hillside, has beautiful landscaping, and has a water park that is part of the main ticket....instead of having to pay for a seperate ticket. We got to do it all! We had a blast! And the best thing, with our friends along, Jamin had a rollercoaster buddy!

Most of the theme park pics are the same as the ones above, so I only put new ones of the water park. We didn't get to play in the water very long because of an approaching storm, but what the boys did get to do, they will remember for a long time!

That evening, after being at the theme park, we enjoyed being at the Lahmann's house, popping fireworks and playing on the 4 wheeler made just for kiddoes. We also played around with wigs (Jesse's pic below)

Before heading to our July 1st Sunday appoinment in Michigan, we went to the St. Louis zoo. We couldn't believe how nice and clean this place was. In my opinion (mom speaking here), it was one of the nicest zoos we have ever been to. And to top it off, it was free. Below are some pics from there.
The boys with the South East Asian Reticulated Python. Supposively, these snakes exist in the Philippines. We pray we never come face to face with one of those.

We rode on this road a good bit while on furlough.
