Our dream of spending a couple of days at Shangri-la Resort finally has become a reality. We were able to use up our Asia Miles (via Cathay Pacific) before our time ran out to lose mileage. We had had two failed attempts in booking this get-a-way, so when this did actually happen, it was almost too good to be true. All we had to pay for was food/entertainment....which in itself cost a small fortune. We all had a great time, and got to spend 'more' quality family time together. This was a trip of a lifetime, and probably will never happen again. Plus, the long road trip to and from.....ok, so really, Shangri-la is just 10 minutes from our house :)
Though the boys enjoyed the 2 night stay at the resort, Jamin summed up the trip in a few words.....
